KJ Consulting Group is a certified small, economically disadvantaged woman-owned business, founded in 2017 in Macon, Georgia. Each of our team members leverages over 20 years of experience in education to develop tailored support to fit leaders’ unique needs. We believe in the power of community and support teams to build better strategy, systems, and culture.
We are passionate about helping leaders harness their natural strengths to improve performance and collaboration in the education, non-profit, and corporate spaces. We lead team workshops, retreats, and one-on-one coaching to help leaders build trust, improve communication, and navigate conflict, and strengthen team cohesion and retention. To collaboratively build lasting change, we also help teams build capacity through talent management, project management, strategic planning, and instructional design.

KATIE JONES,
FOUNDER & lead consultant
Katie is a consultant with 20 years of experience in education. She has served as a high school teacher, worked in higher education, recruited and trained teachers and leaders, and supported first-generation students as they transitioned from high school to college. Katie is an MBTI® Master Practitioner and is certified to coach using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), DISC, and Restorative Practices, and has used these tools to improve self-understanding and interpersonal dynamics for teams in athletic, educational, and organizational settings.
After earning two graduate degrees from Columbia University in Physical Education and Sports Management, Katie worked for non-profit organizations based in Georgia and Texas to recruit, certify, and coach teachers; manage high-performing teams; and build college connections for high school students. She has since founded her own consulting practice and continues to serve a number of local and national education non-profits.
