Through our partnership with TNTP in 2021, KJ Consulting Group supported the Black Church Center for Justice and Equality with project management and toolkit creation for a nationwide virtual panel raising awareness about the backlash against Critical Race Theory in schools, and the connection to the American Rescue Plan funding for education.
Multi-Faith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration
Through our partnership with TNTP in the spring of 2021, KJ Consulting Group collaborated with the Multi-Faith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration (EMI), which launched at Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, in partnership with Auburn Theological Seminary and The Atlanta Temple. KJCG supported the EMI team to plan and execute two virtual panels to raise awareness and drive collective action to dismantle the School-to-Prison Pipeline.
Support included project management, internal and external stakeholder communication, and researching and writing two toolkits regarding inequitable academic opportunities and punitive school discipline policies.
Liberty STEAM charter school
Through a multi-year partnership, KJ Consulting Group is supporting Liberty STEAM Charter School (LSC) to build and implement sustainable systems and strong relationships as they hire and onboard their founding team.
KJCG collaborated with the leadership team to identify and hire top talent, establish strong working dynamics through group and one-on-one coaching, and research curriculum to bolster the impact of LSC in its first year.
Talent support included developing recruitment infrastructure and systems to support the organization as it grows; setting up and implementing the LSC applicant tracking system; and developing a communication plan to support candidate experience.
